*Never* ask people what they want - you're bound to get an answer you
don't like.
A searchable disk sounds OK, but it'd be hell to use.
No, I suggest we plod ever onward, heads bowed with sweat and strain,
counting not the cost, heeding not the wounds, until we finally reach
the sunny uplands and we can look back and ask "Why the hell did I let
myself in for that lot?"
