51401-51500 done
60 rejects (i must be slipping)
Some of the awful threads from the last batch continued into this one: Snape
is poison to any discussion, which quickly devolves into name-calling and
suspicion. The Geistmeister strikes again in #51408, in which, although
borderline OT, she gave such a good exposition on the continuing problems of
List culture that i gave it an FP. See also a fascinating series starting at
#51452 by Petra Pan, which threads a thin line between fanfic comparison with
Potterverse and serious literary analysis (all hail affective fallacy <evil
grin>).
Taking 51501-51600.

Point taken Debbie, I was talking more about your reasons, not your opinion.
Your post survived the culling of most of that thread, so weak was the debate
sadly.

Yes, I blame the onset of another volume in the canon. Uncertain statements
are pounced upon and discarded in a distracted whirl; people are trying to set
up their positions without looking like they'll be stuck with them if proven
wrong; and then everyone has a good bicker about Snape and Lupin. And another
200 posts go sailing by...
