Thanks everybody and especially Carolyn.  I'll give it a try during
the next week.  

I have to say that I have always found computers very trying and I'm
not sure I'm the right person to be involved with this endeavour.  My
day job is very demanding and exhausting, and the only way I can
handle it is to do non-stressful things during my spare time. 
Getting frustrated over databases is definitely stressful.

However I shall write up something about the Filch category and post
it and see if I can make this work.
