There is also another consideration: defunct e-mail addresses. To
delete a post, don't you have to sign in under the same address you
originally created it on for Yahoo to recognise you as the author? I
know there are quite a few people who have had to change theirs.
Of course, this would only apply if the existing archives were made
public, but it's another good reason not to.
