I would pick Harry Potter actually. One...it has more closure at the end
of the movie. it is not necessary to see any of the sequels to enjoy
this movie. SS/PS is a story in and of itself, even though there is a
greater aspect to the story. LotR:FotR is 1/3 of the greater aspect,
with not much of a smaller story happening in this one movie.
My choice...Harry Potter (this is no way diminishes what I thought about
LotR. I though it was fantastic...but the the other 3 movies are
necessary to the story, whereas you don't *need* the other 6 books of HP
to see/read HP)
