Lupin, "misunderstood, troubled, brooding, intense and driven"? Did you
mean Sirius Black? I thought Lupin came across as cool and relatively
confident, in an understated sort of way. Not that I have any idea who
Colin Firth is, mind.

My four-year-old nephew, who has claimed not to particularly like Harry
Potter until now, saw the movie with his mom and promptly told my mother
"I want a Hedwig for Christmas!" (Never mind that I personally wouldn't
have taken a four-year-old to this movie, no matter how precocious....)
Fortunately, snowy owl stuffed animals are relatively easy to come by,
even if she doesn't find a "brand-name" Hedwig. :)
