Hooch/Zoe

I hope they don't recast Hooch - it's will look completely lame to have a new 
actress (I don't care what she said about the pay in the papers - to be 
honest, the children especially did get ripped off by the producers - but 
then again, that's what producers do!)  She's a wonderful actress - I have 
had the pleasure of seeing her live as well as in films.  I greatly admire 
her.  

So she's a U.S. citizen. She lives in the UK and got an  "honorary" Birthday 
Honour (C.B.E.).  When I met her she spoke to me in a British accent, 
although in the play, she acted in an American one.  Even if it is Chris 
Columbus' will, it's almost Voldemort-ian to have to keep the cast "pure and 
British." (I get these images of people going back through an actor's life 
and developing a "One Drop" rule)  I hope no Canadian or Australian citizens 
try to sneak in there.  :-P
