Hmmm....colin firth as sirius? Interesting possibilities. But to tell you the
truth, colin seems way to...nice to play sirius. You know what i mean? Colin
seems really preppy almost and doesnt seem to have that darkness sirius
radiates. I could be wrong, i've only seen colin firth in Bridget Jones's
Diary. But, Sirius needs to be played by someone whose dark and mysterious,
and i dont think colin is much of either. :)

I agree that Colin Firth doesn't seem...right... And to Christi, whom I also agree that Ewan McGregor, while a good actor in his own right isn't a contemporary of Rickman. My two favorite picks for Lupin and Sirius, though obviously unrealistic, have always been Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. Yes, they are not British, but they are also two fo the best actors of all time and would easily, in my opinion, be able to accurately portray Brits(not to mention the fact that both are method actors, taking a lot more time to prepare and accurately portray their roles). Also, both already have the look and the feel of the characters- my personal thoughts being Pacino as Sirius(If you've ever seen him as the devil in The Devil's Advocate, you can see the fire with which he can speak and would be perfect for the explosive but caring Black), and De Niro as Lupin. I know its unrealistic to expect this, but hey, in a dream world they'd make perfect picks, I think! Any Thoughts?
