There is also make-up. If they can make Ewan look 10 years older than he
did in Episode 1 that was filmed just 3 years ago, then they can make
him look the appropriate age for Lupin. Also if you think about it, they
could pass off that the reason Snape looks so much older is cause of his
history as a Death Eater. Stress like that could age anyone.
