ickle_ronniekins asked:
>HMyc> one question. I don't remember that scene with the dinosaur bones
>HMyc> collapsing.
To which Dave responded:
>BTW, I think it's a dragon skeleton, not a dinosaur's.
It is a dragon skeleton in the DADA classroom in the PS and CoS
movies. In the October, 2001 Vanity Fair, they had a pictorial of PS
pictures. There is a picture of Quirrell, Flitwick and Hooch with the
dragon skeleton. The caption on the photo makes mention of it being a
dragon skeleton.
I looked through "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", I think
the skeleton is of a Peruvian Vipertooth Dragon. It fits the general
size and skeletel description.
Milly Marsh writes:
>I don't think it's a petrified guy, I think it's either Crabe or
>Goyle being dragged away into the closet for their clothes.
I think you're right. That's one of Malfoy's stooges.
>Not sure, but the choreography looks pretty fun so far!
I totally agree. The first time I saw the trailer, I said "Whoa....
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Harry!"
One of my own notes.... Unless I am mistaken, I believe that is a
drawing of a Phoenix behind Professsor McGonagall when she says "the
Chamber is said to be home of a monster." It resembles JKR's sketch
of Fawkes.
I have to say, I am very excited to see CoS. I am more impressed with
the trailer for this one than I was for PS. Of course, I didn't
really pay attention to the PS trailers when they first came out (I
only read PS the Monday before the movie was released). I am very
interested to see how CoS is conveyed on the big screen. I must
admit, it is my least favourite of the books. That is one of the
reasons I want to see what they've done with it. I'm WORRIED about
seeing my favourite book (PoA) done on screen. I love it so much, I'm
afraid the movie will ruin it for me.
Well, as long as they get a good director and good actors for Sirius
and Remus. So far I haven't been disappointed with their casting.
