I noticed that too and actually ran here to post.  I paused it at that
point and tried to make out who the people were.  I thought perhaps
the filmakers were giving US a little "easter egg" and do something
whimsical with the reflections.  One of the people looks like a woman.
 I absolutely cannot tell since he's supposed to be looking at the
diary AND the common room is deserted except for the ghost beside him
at the table.  Hopefully they fill fix this in the final editing,
because it's going to bug me otherwise.

The trailer's left me incoherent for the moment.  All I can say is:
How awesome WAS THAT?!
