Daniel's eyes

I have avoided the issue of Harry's eyes for too long and must now throw in
my 5 pence worth then hold my peace.

I don't really think it's that important.

I would love for Harry/Daniel to have green eyes, but if he hasn't then
either someone goofed mega big time or JKR did not think it sufficiently
important to lay down the *Law According to J K Rowling*. Columbus said she
had been very involved in the first film, and was readily available to
answer questions so it is possible they asked her and she said it was no big
deal.

Opinions on the computer/coloursation element (i.e. changing the colour of
his eyes by nefarious means) differs greatly; either it costs a mint or next
to nothing depending on whom you believe. If JKS did say it's important and
Warners did NOT take any notice, they are the ones who will look very very
foolish.

Having had hair similar to Hermione's when I was small I can assure you that
her hair IS bushy enough (IMO), and is probably a pain in the neck to get a
brush through sometimes. While I am sure they could have cast a bushier
haired girl, the fact is that the three principals gelled in a screen test
and Columbus knew he had the right ones there and then.
