I actually don't have a problem with the way they're portraying Emma as Hermione. We only hear about her buck teeth in book 1 and book 4, only to have them disappear. I'm sure that scene will be cut out of movie 4, that's why they've never "enhanced" her teeth. The only thing that's a bit off is, of course, the hair. It wasn't poofy enough in movie 1 and it's never been close to to the "poofiness" since. But it doesn't bother me one bit because it seems to me that we're still seeing her grow up which is, in my opinion, important. It's exactly what I want to see: the Trio growing up and viewing their changes, physical and emotional, as I've been reading in the book.
Also, the clothes Emma's wearing, doesn't bother me as well because I don't recall JKR mentioning how fashionable they are. I like the idea of a fashionable book worm! ;-)
