Confess!

*confesses*

Although someone (Ixchelmala) talked the theatre manager into letting us
in to see the trailer for free. She ended up doing this twice, as I
joined the group late.

The difference on the big screen is just amazing. The Dementor's hand is
about a hundred times creepier. It's almost worth the price of admission
for just that. I can totally understand the little one wanting to wait
for video, lol.

I love the choir. I don't see it as a huge canon contradiction, mainly
because a choir is something that really wouldn't come across in print,
but works beautifully on screen. My guess is that the choir is doing a
Halloween performance and that the Macbeth witches song will be inter
cut with Sirius Black slashing his way into Gryffindor tower.

The surround sound... the images huge on the screen... if you are
interested in the least in Looney Toons, go see it. If you think you can
schmooze your way in for free, try that -- all they can do is say no. I
believe Ix bought some movie passes to use later the first time. It's
also worth asking if you can see the Looney Toons trailer, but watch a
different movie. I think most theatre managers would go along with that
one since you are purchasing a ticket. We weren't the only ones there to
see the trailer -- there was a group of fangirls in front of us holding
hands, freaking out and squeeing too. They did, apparently, buy tickets,
because they were laughing at us when we left.
