I think the problem with the first two movies is that the harry
potter books did 2 things very well, first they had a very good plot
and secondly the magical world is so interesting that i could read
about it all day with out any plot. I think the movies tried do do
both of these things and as a result failed at both. I think for a
Harry Potter film to be well made the only focas can be the plot and
judging by the trailer( i know its not much to go on) that is what is
been done.

The also helps that POA is the most plot driven book so far. In GOF
most of the screen time will be taken up by the tri wizard comp and
voldie just happens to appear at the end. If you can make a coherent
plot line out of OotF let me know ( don' attack me i loved it i just
think it will make a bad movie)

I couldnt agree more the first to films have been very pretty to look
at but thats about all, they ave none of the depth that i can already
see in POA, ( or mayby im just seeing what i want to)

i disagree with you a bit here i find in novels good authors can get
way with unending descriptions it's just that waffle dosnt translate
well into film

The only thing that could destroy POA for me is my unrealistic
expectations
