I saw POA open at a midnight show also. With my husband & son asleep 
that's the only way I would've seen it.  Although, we all went to see 
it twice at a drive-in.  Not the best viewing, but it allowed my 
husband to see.  My 2 y/o has watched COS many times on cable because 
he likes Dobby, but recently has gained an affection for Hermione 
(whose name I was quite surprised he could easily pronounce). She's 
actually giving Elmo a run for his money in the DVD viewing arena.  
He's seen POA on DVD & is enthralled by the Aunt Marge blow up & 
Harry/Buckbeak flight scenes. He seems to have no ill effects from 
watching HP.
