I saw POA open at a midnight show also. With my husband & son asleep
that's the only way I would've seen it. Although, we all went to see
it twice at a drive-in. Not the best viewing, but it allowed my
husband to see. My 2 y/o has watched COS many times on cable because
he likes Dobby, but recently has gained an affection for Hermione
(whose name I was quite surprised he could easily pronounce). She's
actually giving Elmo a run for his money in the DVD viewing arena.
He's seen POA on DVD & is enthralled by the Aunt Marge blow up &
Harry/Buckbeak flight scenes. He seems to have no ill effects from
watching HP.
