Yes, definitely, very good point.  I did not get the feel of the kids 
being in school.  Sure, they showed some classes and walking around 
the castle, but it didn't have that rhythm (excitement of school 
starting, interest turning into drudgery of classes, school breaks, 
etc.) that is so ingrained in real school-- which the first two films 
did get.  It felt more like Harry, Hermione and Ron went to "Camp 
Scary Hillside" than Hogwarts.
