I just watched "The Secret Garden" with my children on video. Maggie Smith
(though I'll always know her as Professor McGonegal), played the mean old
Mrs. Medlock. This is the only other role I've seen her play (I'm not up on
my British films); it was weird to see her play someone mean! Even though
they changed the ending so that she turned nice.
