It's almost November...counting the weeks till HP3 comes out on DVD!


akh: I'm also American and so have somewhat limited access to the pantheon of British actresses, but one that comes to mind in terms of stature and age-appropriate is Imelda Staunton.  I haven't seen her most recent movie, which is out currently (and whose name I don't remember), but I thought she was delightfully annoying in "Sense and Sensibility," and she demonstrated a wide vocal range, so I think she could handle the high-pitched voice.  Plus, she's worked with Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman, so it would be old home week!
