CultivatePeace2000:
That line was in the book as well as the movie. I had always thought
that it foreshadowed the climactic chamber scene you mentioned above
rather than anything that would happen in future books/movies. In
the book, Harry actually silently pleads for help. In answer,
Gryffindor's sword appears for him.

CultivatePeace2000:
That line made me think too. Here again, I thought this quote
probably was foreshadowing the climax of the film. Maybe I am taking
things too literally, but I saw "the darkest time" being the
dementors' attacks, and "turn on the light" in reference to Harry
having the resolve to conjure his patronus.
The statement is such a general saying, though, that it could refer to
the answer in many "dark" moments--so you may have a point thinking
that it would foreshadow other future moments.
