{{SNIP}} Emma does a good job, but
> the screenwriter has made me dislike Hermione by giving her too
many of Ron's
> and Harry's lines, and making her "superHerimone" rather than the
sidekick
> she is in the books. That annoys me a LOT!
now Cyndi--I totally agree with you. I like Hermione so much in the
books, but I have a lot of trouble watching her in the movies for
exactly the reasons you stated. Ron is my favorite in the books and
the movies, and it seems that many of his lines are suddenly coming
out of Hermione's mouth!
> Another favorite line (I've been watching the DVD again lately) is
when
> Harry says, "But sir, it's Quidditch tomorrow" and Snape
replies, "Then I suggest
> you be very careful. Loss of limb is not an excuse" (or something
like that
> -- I'm tired and can't recall his line precisely, but the way he
sneers
> "loss of LIMB" -- OOoooo, I just LOVE Alan Rickman!)
again Cyndi--I love him as well. My favorite line of his is in SS
when the trio have just come from McGonagall telling them that DD has
left for London. Snape stops them in the hallway and says something
like: "What are you three Griffyndors doing inside on a day such as
this. Be careful; someone will think you're *up to something.*"
The way his says those last three words and scowls at Harry is just
fantastic!!
