In the EW they quote the director saying "We distilled the flashbacks
down to three. We see Voldemort as a little boy, and then on two
occasions we see him as a student". It was this "on two occasions as a
student" that made me believe that only the two Slughorn's memories
were included. But I think it's possible that you are right, and
movie!LV asks for the job right after finishing school - in this case
he can be still considered a student :-).

Yeah, there is no problem with the ring, it's right there, on DD's
finger :-). It's the locket (and the cup :-)) that I have a problem
with :-). Harry needs to see these objects to be able to identify them
later in DH. Just talk about them is not enough for me ;-(.
