film. It would mean a long wait between the release of the two parts,
and the expense of seeing both of them and buying both of them would
strain my budget since I am planning on retiring at the end of this
year. I want them to really make movie 7 count - make it the best,
and try to stick as closely to the book as possible, but do it all at
once. I can sit through a four hour movie. They need to make it a
real blockbuster, like Gone With the Wind or Titanic.
Carol responds:
I absolutely agree that they need four hours to do DH right, but HBP
needs four hours, too. I wouldn't want to see either one if the halves
were a year apart. Then, again, maybe "two parts" just means a
four-hour movie with an old-fashioned fifteen-minute intermission in
the middle. (They used to do that with "double features," too, IIRC.)
