Don't we need the Minister of Magic to arrive at the birthday
part to give the Trio their inherited gadgets?

As far as the wedding (B&F), I wonder if that can't just be
so much noise in the background. We can see preparation for
the wedding. The wedding can even be going on, and we might
not see it. We might see Harry talk with Krum, or perhaps,
Hermione commenting on the Lovegood's symbol and establish
it as a plot point.

But like so many shows that occur within a framework, the
framework is just a blur in the background against which
the foreground characters interact. Do you see what I mean
by this?

So, while the wedding is just a blur in the background, key
plot points are made in the foreground, the Ministry falls,
and H/R/H flee. This seems like a very expedient way to
make those plot points without getting bogged down in the
details of the wedding.

Hey, it was just a thought.
