And now you'll have to post more often!

To this day I believe my husband regrets that. I have

My family had (still have) the same reaction. My teens cannot believe
anyone is still discussing these old books.

I read SS before the movie came out--just because the movie was
coming out and I wanted to know what all the hype was about. But I
didn't see either SS/PS or CoS in the theater. It took a little
longer for the HP bug to catch hold.

What do any of you think of the scene on the Hogwarts

Potioncat:
It's true. That is in the book.

I only bring it up because I was going to mention the scene I
dislike, but I thought I'd better check. Turns out it's in the book
too. When Draco introduces himself, Ron laughs at his name. Draco is
offended. (Who wouldn't be?)

I didn't think there was any reason for a wizarding child to think
the name was funny. Actually, since it means dragon, it seems pretty
cool to me. Then I started thinking. (I know, it's about time.) With
all the unusual wizarding names, doesn't it seem all Harry's
contemporaries have fairly normal RW names?
