It doesn't show up on my system like that. Secondly,
it's the first time I've ever had a reply from you
which has been formatted in that way.....

Geoff:
We (speaking collectively and not individually) have
had a similar discussion to this on Main in the not-
too-distant past.
In your message 17154, your reply was top-posted. It
didn't matter too much in that instance but there have
frequently been cases in the past on the various HP
groups where a very long series of posts have accummulated
and switching between top- and bottom-posting makes
it very difficult to follow a thread.

I have said that I am making assumptions which may be wrong
and am merely saying that I am suspicious of ways in which
the screenplay is working out, with memories of some iffy
bits in previous films.

Honestly, I wonder why most people here are here, most

Geoff:
Please don't count me in with the film haters. I came to be
a Harry Potter fan through the films and I enjoy them as much
as the books. My first introduction was when COS was released
into the cinemas followed shortly by seeing PS via Sky. This
encouraged me to start reading the books and I joined HPFGU
in July 2003. The rest, as they say, is history.
My point is that screen adaptations often include changes for
the sake of change - and I am not just referring to the Harry
Potter films.
I think we are at a position where we have been on occasions previously - of agreeing to disagree.
