Very loosely - use 'which' after a commenting clause, use 'that' 
after a defining clause. Even more loosely, a commenting clause is 
followed by a comma. So -

	This is the wand that killed Cedric.

	This is Voldemort's wand, which killed Cedric.

Well, that's the way I was taught to do it anyway. Many moons ago ...
