Ah, you see, this is where the genius of cookie dough ice cream comes 
in.  Since they prepare it on a grand scale and for commercial 
purposes, they pasteurize the eggs.  The bacteria snigger all the way 
to their doom, and we get to eat raw cookie dough without fear.
