I read the book of Bridget Jones's Diary. Very good. And different
than the movie but I have to say they did a great job with the
screenplay, besides. A couple things that didn't make the script
would have been interesting to see happen but...that's Hollywood
for you. I highly recommend both the book and the movie (but
perhaps the movie first).

I went to Build A Bear this past weekend and made my "Harry
Potter" koala. His name is Gryff. The outfit is really cute and the
owl is adorable. Everyone who saw him while I was waiting in line
were saying "*Gasp!* I didn't see a Hogwarts outfit! Where did you
find that?!" :-)

Anyway.....

Nope, it wasn't Sting (though he is truly a very sexy man). It's
Simon LeBon of Duran Duran. I finally got to meet him this past
year, too, thanks to my best friend who is very good friends with
the drummer and bassist. I've wanted to meet him since 1983. He
turned out to be a wonderful, charming guy, great sense of humor
and very gracious, and rather flirty. So that was a thrill.

So...that's it.

I've watched Pride and Prejudice for the last couple of days (and
rewinding the lake scene...*sigh*...) And I still stand by my
thoughts of Colin Firth being Lupin. I mentioned it to a friend and
she said "I don't know. I always pictured Lupin as someone
resembling an unmade bed." My reply was "Yes...and an unmade
bed is very inviting to lie upon, isn't it?" :-)

*ahem*

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Oh, the thrill of the chase as I soar through the air
With the Snitch up ahead and the wind in my hair
As I draw ever closer, the crowd gives a shout
But then comes a Bludger and I am knocked out.
