It seems I am desperately trying to avert my thoughts...
A eleven year old boy who was at our school was in an accident with his bike
and died. We (= school choir) are going to sing at his Requiem-Mass, but I
really don't know how to sing there without starting to cry. Even today when
we were
rehearsing and I saw all his little classmates sitting there I nearly choked
on my tears. It seems so stupid, I didn't know that boy at all, but still...
How do his parents feel? Or his friends? It doesn't seem fair that he had to
die so soon. Just hope I don't start sobbing. I guess you never get used to
death, even if you don't know the people involved.
