I'm also a big Pullman fan - but the titles you have mentioned are 
confusing me.  In the UK, the first volume of the HDM trilogy 
was "Northern Lights" followed by "The Subtle Knife" and then "The 
Amber Spyglass."  Were the titles changed in America?

Also, I have never heard of "The Firework Maker's Daughter."  Is this 
a Phillip Pullman?

Catherine, who hates to think that she is missing out on anything 
written by PP - also loved the Sally Lockheart series.
