I can soooo relate. I'm still waiting for my husband
to acknowledge Mothers' Day, though I suspect it's
time to give up hope on that one. As for the birthday
cake thing... my husband runs his own business, making
cakes and chocolates. I certainly didn't get a cake
last year, should I keep my fingers crossed for this
year? <vbg>

No, you don't sound selfish. Your birthday is a
special day and it's not selfish to want people to
remember it and do something nice.

Sheryll, now feeling bad (realising she forgot Neil's
birthday and hoping he had a great day)
