You are not alone! I sobbed when Cedric died and had to put down my book for 
a couple minutes. I didn't even like him that much (not that I dislike him, I 
was just rather indifferent to him until the third task). Yet, my younger 
brother, who is 12, did not shed a single tear nor was he remotely emotional 
about that part. 

Stranger yet is the fact that the only things I have dried at since I was 11 
are books. I never shed a tear about anything in real life but if I read a 
sad passage in a book I will start sobbing. In Nicholas Sparks' "A Walk To 
Remember" I cried so much that my mother knocked on my door and asked what 
had happened. She wasn't really surprised when I told her i was just reading
