Mecki, I loved your death story. I hope you come back to life soon
enough to kill your husband. ;) Of course, if he's dead, he can't
sufficiently pay for his lack of suffering before-hand, so I hope you
come back to life in time to leave him alone with the kids for the
weekend or something. :)

Speaking of little monsters, mine is going to spend the night with a
couple of friends of ours and their little girl tonight. Hubby and I
are celebrating our 5th anniversary (we still haven't gotten each
other's gifts yet - any ideas for a wooden gift? No broomsticks,
please... hehehe), and my nurse/midwife said I could have a glass of
wine to celebrate. It was funny - my husband brought it up at my last
appointment (we've got a couple of bottles of the same wine we had on
our honeymoon stored up for the next couple of anniversaries), and she
said "No problem. Sheesh, drunks have full-term babies all the time."
It was pretty funny at the time because she had this sort of "worn
out" look on her face and you could tell that it's because of some of
the patients they get from our area... mothers who're just out of
school or even still in it, are young and "free", have boyfriends,
and aren't about to stop partying just to have a little baby! So
anyway, I get a glass of wine with my dinner tonight, hubby gets the
rest of the bottle, and then we get a night at the movies! And! We
can sleep in tomorrow morning! What a nice anniversary gift.

So anyway, my husband has a "work" picnic with his colleagues and the
administration of the college tomorrow (families invited), and since
that starts at 10am, and we're hoping to sleep in until 9, we'll have
enough time for some breakfast and a quick trip over to our friends'
house to pick up Ginger before heading over there. Hopefully, it'll
be a nice night and a good weekend. Hope you all have a good weekend,
too, and I hope to catch some of you on Sunday afternoon.

Jen (who said to her husband this morning after he said "Happy
Anniversary": "Okay, I think 5 years is more than anyone expected us
to last... we can get divorced now..." hahaha)

ps... it was a joke, of course... we have odd senses of humor. :)
