I think I'm in the minority. None of the actors in LotR did it for
me. I'm just not into pretty boys. I still think my husband is the best
looking guy around. No. Honest! I have a thing for scary blondes though
and there just aren't enough of them on the screen. The kid who plays
Spike in Buffy is probably the closest thing out there to scary
blondes. sigh. I stand by the kid thing since I'm 41 and all of the
actors are starting to look like kids to me. I'm looking forward to seeing
who they cast as Lucius Malfoy... ;-)

I think Lupin is far more interesting. I'll wait and see how Sirius
develops in the next few books but he seems more WYSIWYG. (I bet Moody was
compelling in his youth...)

Been there, done that and am still married to him (20 years in
2003). Don't forget to add in intelligence and a sense of humor. Oh, and
lots of patience. I lucked out in the spouse department. There's a
waiting list for him should we ever split. He cooks, too.
What is it about this series male characters that seems to inspire so much
lust? I've been involved in various shows' fandoms and did the Trek thing
back in the 70's, but I've never seen quite such an estrogen
outburst. Testosterone, too! Maybe it's because the web has enabled
fanfic to be so much easier to find. Dunno. Anyone have any ideas?
Catherine in California who's beginning to think she needs some kind of
cooler name since the lists seem to have at least four of us.
