70 bucks, about £50, right?  *looks ignorant and British*

Wondering about mobile phone bills.  Do you have anything like the 
Pay As You Go systems in the US, where you buy a top-up card (usually 
about £10 - £20 worth of credit) dial the serial number into your 
phone, and get a certain amount of credit (much like using a public 
phone)?  I've heard so many scare stories about teenagers who were 
put on billed services and ran up monthly tariffs of £300 or more - 
I'm on Up to You Standard, a PAYG service on One 2 One (a fairly bad 
UK service) and this means I spend around £20 a month on my little 
Nokia.  As long as I don't make too many out-going calls - most Brits 
my age, after all, just use theirs to make quick 10 second calls to 
establish 1) where we are, and 2) where we're meeting - and confine 
myself to text messaging, the credit doesn't run out too fast.
