Speaking from personal experience, I usually just sign their names. 
Of course, since it's usually a store card and not their Visa or 
MasterCard, it's usually not a big deal. But then again my parents 
usually know that I have their credit cards. It's easier than me 
writing a check and them paying me back. Especially when I have to 
buy presents or the like. 

Of course, I'm using them with permission but no one has ever stopped 
me before. Although a quick call to my parents would clear it up.
