Melody Spoke:
>>>It took me a few days, but I finally realized someone y'all have
left out...Barty Crouch Jr.<<<<
So Gail B frowned:
>>>Oh, please...don't tell me you're one of those...
> I'd rather think that Barty Jr is out of the running, seeing that
HE'S GOT HIS SOUL SUCKED OUT OF HIM!
Sorry about that. But hey, if that's your thing...go for it. I'd
think he'd be pretty boring on dates. But then again, you'll never
have an argument with him :)>>>>
Me:
No, Barty Jr. is facinating alive and with his soul only. But true,
he is rather dull now. Kind of puts a damper on the dreams. Besides,
what fun is a man if you can't argue with him?
I just find Barty interesting for his mind alone. Maybe also his
cuteness though he is described little in the books. *My* Barty is
very cute. ;)
Gail B. then wisely pointed out:
> I would always be afraid that he'd <Voldemort> Crucio or AK me at
any given moment. He also just doesn't get the concept of
"love"...that's a bit of a downer, too.>
Me: Ooo, a point I missed. So Voldemort may be powerful and evil
personified which can be appealing...too some...but not understanding
love is a depressing. Seems he needs to cuddle his pet Nagini more
often. So therefore we can all agree, Voldemort is ugly, mean, cruel,
and worst of all self-involved. Ok, so to get the girls, he needs to
be really, really rich. ;) Hey worked for Lucius.
Kara also remembered:
>>>Oh, and in case someone doesn't find any of these men appealing...
there's always Ludo Bagman! ;) <<<
Me:
I have never liked Bagman. He is just too childish. He reminds me
about the guys from high school that never get past the "glory days"
of youth. Bagman might be a trophy boyfriend for his past and might
be fun to pal around town, but, as a date or husband, I would be
embarassed to be equated with him.
Lastly, Gail B then pointed out:
>>who wonders if there are any men lurking around this thread and also
wonders if they think we're all nutcases.<<<
Me:
We're girls. It is fun to be silly.
GulPlum tried to bring the guys out in the main group to voice thier
crushed on what few "hot girls" are in the series. Given the lack of
responses, it seems they were too shy. Too bad. They are missing out
on all the fun.
