About Robes, and Men

Hi, I am also new.  I'm Kim, from Texas.  :-)
Anyway, I am dressing up as Hermione, and my two boys are going as Harry and
Ron (5 years and 2 years old).  (and Hubby is going as a Muggle, LOL)  I
made our robes, sweaters, and ties, and bought the white shirts and grey
pants.  I was wondering what type of patch you are using?  I have looked all
over for *something* that would work, and have come up emptyhanded so far.
btw, I got our material for $10 (total!) because it was on clearance.  What
a deal, and it is really nice knit material.  So for all three of our
costumes, I spent less than the *one* children's robe cost at the stores.
This was my first major sewing project, too, before now the only thing I
have ever sewn is curtains, LOL!  So I am really quite proud of these.
btw, I am a total Lupin girl myself, and I really love the conversation you
guys have had going the past few days!
