Okay, I wasn't going to get sucked into the whole
crushes-on-fictional-characters thing, but oh well - Vulcans rule! I see Data
as more of a brother, but Spock was always my favorite. And his dad. Yum.
Anyway, in the Potterverse... I can't say I'm really *attracted* to any of the
men in HP. Possibly Lupin or Black, if I had to pick. But I do find Snape
*very* intriguing - again, if he looks like Rickman, so much the better.

Speaking of Snape, have you seen the deleted version of the first Potions class
on the DVD? I *really* wish they had left that one intact. It's much truer to
the book, and it really helps set up the antagonism between Harry and Snape for
the moviegoers who haven't read the book. Maybe they'll come out with a
director's cut that's about 6 hours long, that might do the book justice. I
really hate going to a movie where I spend the whole time explaining what's
going on to somebody who hasn't read the book (usually my hubby - yes, the same
man who made me chicken out on the ST uniform - he really is a wonderful man,
but he has *no* imagination). This was the case when we saw Interview with the
Vampire together - I have no idea if the movie was any good, because I didn't
get the chance to *watch* it.
