There are milkmen today in the US. I had milk/dairy products delivered to my
house in Denver until I moved away 17 months ago. The company was Royal Crest
Dairy, which I think is a fairly large chain. They are not "certified
organic", but their suppliers are required not to use hormones and to keep milk
from cows being treated with antibiotics separate (i.e. sell it to other
retailers). Their milk is also processed and delivered much faster than what
you buy at the grocery, and it stays fresh for at least 2 weeks after delivery.
I'm moving back to Denver next week, and will probably sign up with them
again.
