In an attempt to read an author besides JKR, I know heaven forbid, I
found an interesting quote.

>From JD Salinger's set of short stories names Nine Stories:
Second story entitled Uncle Wiggily in Connecticut (pg 26)

The four year old Ramona was asked by her mom Eloise what her
imaginary friend looked like...

E>"Stand up, please...Tell Mary Jane how Jimmy looks."
R>"He has green eyes and black hair."
E>"What else?"
	R>"No mommy and no daddy."
E>"What else?"
	R>"No freckles."
E>"What else?"
	R>"A sword."

Maybe I have spent too many of my days in Potterland, but our little
"imaginary friend" fits that description quite well.

(as a side note, I highly recommend one of Salinger's other sets of
short stores named Franny and Zooey. Excellent pair of two short
stories.)
