This was the most intriguing observations of the GoF Trio 
relationships I've read.  You seem a very perceptive and intelligent 
person, Liz, and I tremendously enjoyed reading your post.  (Are you 
certain you're only fourteen?)  Your perspective substantiates some 
ideas that have been batted back and forth in an off-site discussion 
I've been engaged in.  Now, if only JKR could see things our way.
