At the risk of being dangerously on-topic, I don't think Harry is 
more powerful without a wand (I don't even remember that discussion--
must've been on vacay--too bad, because it sounds interesting).  I 
can't join you on Snape, though; although I am sure more Snape 
revelations await, I think the major twist has already been twined.  
Don't despair.  Start S.I.A.M.E.S.E. C.A.T. (Snape Is Assuredly Most 
Ever So Evil.  Coming:  Another Twist) and see who joins up!
