Well, I should imagine it's celebrated to some extint in the U.K., though I'm 
sure others on the list can confirm that.  Since Lockhart made such a big deal 
of it in CoS, what with the singing dwarfs and all, I imagined it was 
celebrated in the U.K.

As for other countries, I heard something on the radio yesterday, soldiers were 
going into shops in Iran and making them take down anything with hearts or 
otherwise related to Valentine's.  Apparently the people were trying to 
celebrate it, but the government views it as a "decadent Western holiday."  
According to the news report anyway.
