Yup their real and depending on the student
and school you can get quite enthusiastic.  I
was a member of a group at Elmira High, OR
that knew every word to the school song and
cheers and we were VERY enthusiastic often
getting the crowd going more then the
cheerleaders.

On the other hand my time at Riddle High, OR
was spent watching the morose faces of the
students and wondering how they could not
care about their school.
