I tend to the view that any sentence containing the words 'secret'
and 'Zion' is 99.9% likely to be tripe, unless it came from a
television programme, in which case the figure is 99.99%. I leave
it to Zeno of Elea to decide what to do with *that* sentence.
I don't think 'science' as such was ever considered heresy by the
church, certainly not in Flamel's time when it was not really
understood as something different from other types of philosophy.
Later, some specific scientific findings were declared heretical, I
think.
