It was a television program.  I guess I should have mentioned 
that. ;)

Well, after watching all of the show, it ended up being about a 
secret society that (they believe)  protected the bloodline of 
Jesus. By "they"  I mean the scholars of that time.  It was really, 
really interesting, and tied the bloodlines of King Arthur to Jesus 
and the royal french bloodline.  I think that the heresy part had to 
do with the fact that they might have believed that Jesus and Mary 
Magdalene were married and that they had children, which the 
Catholic church at the time considered heresy.  Let's just say it 
sent me on the internet looking up things I had never considered 
before, and I found interesting things.  I love shows that make me 
curious!  Anyway, I'm off to discover more! :D
