I am hoping that regardless of my beliefs I am able to enjoy any book 
as a beatiful work of art and I did in fact do just that.

It is just emotionally I did not enjoy the ending at all. As I said, 
I would not want it to be very religious ending, but I wanted some 
hope at the end that one day in some other life (in another world, 
reincarnation, whatever) those two will meet again.

I would absolutely recommend these series to anybody, but MYSELF I 
will not be rereading them.
