Gabriela:

I highly recommend them, the first one is Sabriel, the second Lirael
and the third Abhorsen. The books are a little dark (they are about
going into death and preventing the dead to come back to life) but
the story is interesting. Philip Pullman wrote a praise on the books
and it was very positive.

Gabriela:

That's the reason why it took me a long time to decide and read
them, I agree with you on the religious issue; I am a catholic and I
knew I would read some things that would go against my beliefs; but
I am open minded and decided to give it a try. I don't regret it at
all, great series.

David, thank you for the info on the Sally Lochart trilogy, I'll
read them as soon as I can.

Thanks Alla, thanks David
